Emtec Core & Protect is a growing company specialising in Diamond Drilling/Sawing Works and Passive Fire Protection Installations, with secured projects across Scotland. We’re excited to be expanding our team and are looking for a Diamon Drilling Contracts Manager to join us in this new role.

While we would love to hear from those with experience managing diamond drilling and passive fire protection contracts, we also encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate their suitability for the role.

What You'll be Doing

• Supporting and managing the day-to-day activities of site-based teams.
• Coordinating labour, materials, and equipment, including preparing cost estimates for approval.
• Preparing risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation to ensure safe working practices.
• Identifying potential project changes and advising on cost and schedule impacts.
• Communicating with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Setting and monitoring cost and schedule targets and providing progress updates to the Director.
• Helping with business development initiatives
• Ensuring that all site operations and installations meet the highest standards and are completed on time and align with our accreditations

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar role within Diamond Drilling or Passive Fire Protection industry is a strong advantage.
• Excellent organisation and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop site-based teams.
• A solid understanding of commercial aspects of contract management
• Confidence in managing multiple sites and teams daily to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Competence with IT systems, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a positive can-do attitude
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to efficiently manage operatives over multiple sites on a daily basis to ensure successful contract performance.
