With the renewables industry booming, Emtec Energy is expanding rapidly. We are actively seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our growing Large Projects Team. Joining our diverse team will allow you to enhance your skills and advance professionally in this dynamic sector.

What You’ll be Doing

As an Electrical Project Manager with Emtec Energy you will manage Solar PV & Renewable technology projects from project award to successful delivery, ensuring all work meets the required standards and KPI’s. This role is based at our head office in Uddingston, with projects currently across the UK.

• Project Management: Lead Solar PV & Renewable Installation projects from start to finish, coordinating with clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers. Focus on efficient resource planning for maximum productivity, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Documentation: Create and organise project documentation ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Stakeholder Communication: Schedule and manage meetings with key stakeholders to facilitate collaboration, internal and external.
• Site Supervision: Oversee work progress through regular site visits, ensuring quality standards, timelines, and budget adherence. Generate management reports on operational activities and performance.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to CDM regulations, company procedures, quality standards, and legal requirements. Prioritise a positive customer experience and uphold Health & Safety standards.
• Asset Management: Monitor and maintain company assets, including vehicles, materials, tools, and safety equipment.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager
• Knowledge of CDM and principal contracting duties.
• Able to manage project timelines, budgets, resource, and risk with ease.
• People management skills with the desire to lead and mentor others.
• Strong customer focus along with excellent communication skills.
• Willing to travel to various site locations throughout project lifecycle.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• A passion for renewable energy would be a big plus as would experience in this sector.
