We’re looking for a professional, organised and approachable Senior Office Administrator to join our Emtec Building Services North team in Newcastle. You’ll be stepping into a well established role as a valued colleague prepares for retirement. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive and experienced team.
This is more than a front-of-house position. You’ll be at the heart of the business, keeping everything running smoothly and supporting teams across the office.
What You’ll Be Doing
Creating a warm, professional welcome for visitors and callers
Providing day-to-day administrative support to engineers, estimators, managers and Directors
Assisting with procurement and material orders (Business Central)
Managing weekly timesheets, labour records, and invoice queries
Maintaining project files, documentation and reports
Organising plant registers, training renewals and fleet admin
Coordinating meetings, office activities and general admin tasks
Supporting site teams with packs and weekly returns
Ensuring processes align with ISO9001 standards
What We’re Looking For
Strong administration experience, ideally within construction or building services
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Friendly, professional communicator
Confident using Microsoft Office (Business Central a bonus)
Able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, reliable and a strong team player
