Sprinkler Project Manager
If you’re someone who likes taking ownership, keeping projects moving, and being trusted to run jobs properly, this could be a great opportunity.
At Emtec Fire Systems, we deliver high-quality sprinkler and fire protection solutions across a wide range of projects throughout the UK. As part of the wider Emtec Group, we combine technical expertise with a practical, people-focused approach and we’re looking for an experienced Sprinkler Project Manager who can take real ownership of project delivery from start to finish.
This is a role where your experience genuinely matters. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems, build relationships on site, and drive projects forward without needing constant direction.
The Role
You’ll manage sprinkler projects end-to-end, working closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly from pre-start through to final handover.
You’ll have responsibility for programme, coordination, compliance and commercial performance, ensuring projects are delivered to the standards expected across the business.
What You’ll be doing
Taking full ownership of sprinkler projects from start to finish
Driving programme and keeping projects on track
Managing labour, materials and subcontractors across projects
Protecting project margins and controlling cost-to-complete
Reviewing designs and ensuring approvals are in place and coordinated before install starts
Identifying variations and commercial risks early.
Leading client meetings and coordinating with wider project teams.
Ensuring works are delivered in line with BS EN 12845 and LPS 1048 standards
Supporting testing, commissioning and final compliance documentation
Building strong working relationships across projects and sites.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with proven experience managing sprinkler projects who understands both the technical and commercial side of delivery.
You’ll ideally have:
Strong sprinkler project management experience
Good understanding of sprinkler systems, standards and compliance requirements
Experience working to BS EN 12845 and LPS 1048 standards
Solid commercial awareness and understanding of project margins
Confidence challenging programme, design and scope where needed
A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to take ownership and make decisions confidently
